Darius “Droyd” Bryant, a native of Buffalo, New York started drumming at age 3. By age 6 this drumming prodigy began accepting requests for drumming engagements at various local churches in the community. Not merely thriving on talent alone, Darius learned to read and write music in early childhood, ultimately cumulating as a graduate of Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts.
After graduation, he started a small studio in the basement of his mother’s home where he produced many local artists until he left to further his knowledge and musical aspirations at Full Sail University. Due to the huge pull on his talent, he exited college a little early and began working with such artists as A.I, Devvon Terrell, T-Pain, Iggy Azalea, Red Velvet, Futuristic and Fabri Fibra to name a few.
Darius recently teamed up with the Korean pop group “EXO” under the SM Entertainment label, which has led to the platinum K-Pop album entitled: “Ex’Act.” One of the featured song tracks produced by Droyd on the album is “Can’t Break Me Down.” Not new to celebrating his own wins, Droyd is quickly becoming a premiere go-to music producer in the industry.
With no plans of slowing down, the Buffalo, New York native is gearing up to release a brand new solo EP of original music with features from Topaz Jones, Futuristic, Leven Kali, and more.
